The first time you will have to get his password from a villager or by using our Crazy Redd Password Guide. After that you can't buy anything because you "are not family." You can become "family" by paying 3,000 bells. Now you can buy whatever you want there. His art is sometimes forged and there is no way to tell except by trying to donate it to the museum.
